A woman named Mumbi Said has spoken out about her experience with James Maina Ng’ang’a, the leader of Neno Evangelism. According to Mumbi, Ng’ang’a told her HIV-positive aunt that she was bewitched, leading her to stop taking her antiretroviral medication (ARVs). Mumbi’s aunt eventually died.

Mumbi Said stated, "This pastor lied to my aunt who was HIV positive and she refused taking her medicine because he said she was be-witched. I will never forgive him but I believe hell is in this world. He will pay for all the harm he has caused to innocent desperate Kenyans."

Mumbi now warns others to beware of Ng’ang’a, whom she believes is responsible for her aunt’s death.
