Betting company Sportpesa is sponsoring an Arsenal Football Training Camp at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies in Nairobi from May 23 to 28.

The training targets 60 Kenyan certified coaches from all over the country, drawn from 16 Sportpesa Premier League under 19 championship teams, and 44 coaches from grassroots football clubs across various regions.

A team of three Arsenal coaches - Paul Drew Tyler, Mohammed Moaz Awadelkarim, and Rupen Shah - along with legendary player Sol Campbell, will conduct the course.

The main objective of the training camp is to provide international coaching to Kenyan coaches, sharpening their skills through both theoretical and practical sessions.

Topics to be covered include the profile of a good footballer, player-centered coaching, identifying player talent, assessing good players, and developing players' strengths while balancing their weaknesses.

The training camp will conclude with a Corporate Social Responsibility activity, where kids from soccer academies will participate in a clinic with the coaches and Campbell.
