A woman claims her husband, Manoj Changarampatt, Director of Internet and Mobile Division EA at Samsung Electronics in Kenya, abandoned her and their two sons over 11 years ago.

According to Renuka Mamoj, her husband left for Kampala in 2002, promising to reunite the family the following academic year. However, he ceased contact in March 2003 and has since neglected his family's welfare.

Evidence and Context

Despite a 2010 court order requiring Manoj Changarampatt to provide maintenance for Renuka Mamoj and their younger son until he turns 18, he allegedly failed to comply. The case remains ongoing, with Renuka Mamoj appealing for maintenance for their older son's education.

Manoj Changarampatt has since remarried and started a new family in Kenya, while Renuka Mamoj and their sons struggle financially.

Response and Consequences

Renuka Mamoj claims her husband deceived her by obtaining an ex-parte divorce decree in India without her knowledge. She discovered this through a file sent by the Indian High Commission in Kenya.

Renuka Mamoj is seeking help and justice through the Dead Beat Kenya forum.
