Botswana President Masisi to Visit Kenya for Three Days

Kenya is set to welcome Botswana President Eric Mokgweetsi Masisi for a three-day State Visit, starting on Monday.

According to a statement by State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena-Mararo, President Uhuru Kenyatta will formally receive the visiting Head of State at State House, Nairobi, on July 23, 2019.

During the visit, the two leaders will hold bilateral talks with their respective delegations, followed by a joint press briefing.

President Masisi, who assumed office in April 2018, has a rich political background, having served as Minister of Education since 2014 and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Public Administration from 2011 to 2014.
