Abeesh Dominic, a 25-year-old man from Kerala, India, has broken a new world record by smashing 124 coconuts open with his hands in less than 60 seconds.

Dominic performed the stunt at a local mall, topping the previous record holder, Muhamed Kahrimanovic, by six coconuts. Kahrimanovic, a German, had managed to open 118 coconuts.

The stunt was witnessed by a cheering crowd. Dominic, a mechanic, also holds other international records for feats such as pulling trucks with his teeth and breaking hockey sticks and helmets with his hands.

Although he smashed 145 coconuts with his right elbow, only 124 were fully crushed. Dominic is already recognized in the Universal Record Forum, the Limca Book of Records, the American Setter Record, and the Assist World Record, with dozens of trophies at his home.

The Guinness World Records is expected to recognize the record in about six months.
