Kenyans have praised the Cabinet Secretary for Defence, Ambassador Raychelle Omamo, for her warm welcome of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officers at Wilson Airport.
Accompanied by the Chief of Defense Forces General Samson Mwathethe and other top military officials, Omamo received the KDF officers on Monday.
A photo circulated on social media shows the CS hugging and comforting the soldiers as they disembark from a military aircraft, following their survival of an attack on a Kenyan military base in Somalia.
Social media users commended the Cabinet Secretary for her display of affection towards the soldiers.
