On July 22, 2019, the Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji ordered the arrest of Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and Treasury Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge over the Arror and Kimwarer dam saga.
According to DPP Haji, officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations were looking for CS Rotich and PS Thugge to make arrests, a move that could have significant implications for the two officials.
