A leading provider of security tracking devices based in Nairobi is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Technical Manager.
The ideal candidate should possess strong supervisory skills, a mature personality, and the ability to manage people.
Duties and Responsibilities ¶
- Coordinate and prepare daily work schedules for client sites to be visited, ensuring prompt arrival of technicians.
- Conduct daily roll calls of technicians.
- Program units to be installed and handle technical requirements.
- Maintain records related to the Technical room, including job cards.
- Train technicians, particularly new recruits.
- Advise technicians on technical skills.
- Assess and evaluate market needs for advanced technology and required training for the Technical team.
- Serve as a link between various departments within the company regarding client issues.
- Advise clients on technical and related issues.
- Conduct random site visits to supervise technicians during their work.
Required Qualifications ¶
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of similar experience.
- Computer science or natural science background is an added advantage.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Experience in installing tracking devices on vehicles is mandatory.
