A Bungoma Member of County Assembly has denied allegations of having an affair with Senate Minority Leader Moses Wetangula, stating that their relationship is purely based on party affiliation and politics.
The MCA's statement comes after reports were published in the Nairobian, a weekly publication owned by the Standard Media Group, claiming that the MCA had eloped from their marital home and was involved in an affair with Senator Wetangula.
The MCA expressed respect for Senator Wetangula as a party leader, political mentor, and father figure, emphasizing that their association is limited to party politics.
