Nominated Senator Paul Njoroge appeared before the High Court in Naivasha, where he faced charges related to creating a disturbance by shooting at employees of Vivo Energy on Tuesday.
He was released on a cash bail of KES 50,000. Lawyer Steven Luseno questioned why Senator Njoroge, who was captured on camera firing at Vivo Energy Managing Director Polycarp Igathe, was not charged with misusing a firearm.
