Published on July 22, 2019, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige unveiled the plans for the next two years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) at San Diego Comic-Con. The announcement came after the massive success of 'Avengers: Endgame,' which surpassed 'Avatar' to become the highest-grossing movie of all time.

One of the most anticipated sequels is 'Black Panther 2,' which will see Chadwick Boseman reprise his role as T'Challa. However, it remains unclear whether Michael B. Jordan will return as Erik 'Killmonger' Stevens, and whether director Ryan Coogler will be back at the helm.

Other highly anticipated sequels include 'Captain Marvel 2,' 'Doctor Strange 2' (titled 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'), and 'Thor 4' (titled 'Thor: Love and Thunder'). The latter will see Natalie Portman return as Jane Foster, who may even become the new Thor, just like in the comic books.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is also in the works, with director James Gunn confirming that it will not be called 'Asgardians of the Galaxy.' The storyline for most of these movies remains shrouded in secrecy, with only a few details being revealed.

Marvel is also introducing new characters to the MCU, including 'The Eternals,' a group of individuals who are essentially gods in the MCU, with Angelina Jolie joining the cast. Another new movie is 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,' which will focus on martial arts and the Mandarin, a classic MCU villain.

Unfortunately, Keanu Reeves' role in the MCU remains a mystery for now.

One of the most exciting announcements was the return of some of Marvel's most beloved characters. 'Black Widow' is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2020, with Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff. The movie will take place between 'Captain America: Civil War' and 'Avengers: Infinity War.'

Marvel also confirmed that the X-Men and Fantastic Four will join the MCU, with Kevin Feige making the announcement at San Diego Comic-Con. Oscar winner Mahershala Ali will play the role of Blade, a vampire-hunting half-breed.

Along with a list of movies, Marvel is also introducing a range of series on the Disney+ streaming service. These include 'Loki,' which follows the god of mischief in an alternate timeline; 'WandaVision,' which explores the story of the Scarlet Witch and possibly the revival of Vision; and 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,' which follows the two characters post-Avengers: Endgame.

Other series include 'Hawkeye,' which follows Clint Barton in his time as Ronin, and 'What If...?', an animation series voiced by the main actors of the MCU.

With all these movies and series coming out, fans are eagerly awaiting the next Avengers movie. However, there is currently no news on that front.
