International Criminal Court Registrar Herman von Hebel has cancelled his trip to Kenya, which was initially scheduled for this week.
Prior to the planned visit, the ICC had informed the Kenyan government of certain conditions related to Hebel's security and access to government officials. According to multiple government sources, the trip was cancelled after the government declined to meet these conditions.
The visit would have included meetings with selected Kenyan government leaders and a stop at the ICC's office in Nairobi.
