On April 4, 2015, a crowd gathered at the mortuary in Garissa town to see the bodies of suspected Al-Shabaab terrorists involved in the Garissa University attack.
According to reports, police paraded the bodies of Al-Shabaab gunmen who killed 147 people in one of Kenya’s worst massacres. This occurred hours after the militants threatened "another bloodbath".
In connection with Thursday’s attack, five men were arrested. The attack involved a one-day siege at the university in Garissa town.
