Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) has received the Stat Times International Award for Excellence in Air Cargo as the African Airport of the Year.
According to the statement, JKIA initially won this award in 2011 during its first participation in the survey and was a runner-up in 2013.
The award winners are selected based on the number of votes they receive from within the industry.
