Tanzanian authorities have arrested a college student suspected of hacking into Bongo musician AY's phone.
The suspect allegedly used the rapper's line to solicit money from the musician's friends.
AY recalled the incident, saying,
I was in Nairobi when my phone was hacked. I had my Tigo network SIM card here in Nairobi, and it was off. However, the hacker had made it active in Dar es Salaam yet I was still in Nairobi.
