Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko's rescue team provided free wedding transport services to a couple on Saturday, marking the initiative's first service.
Sonko introduced this program in early January to assist young people in Nairobi County who want to get married but lack sufficient funds to cover wedding expenses.
In a Facebook post, Sonko shared photos of the fleet of vehicles, including gold-plated Mercedes Benz and Hummers, offered for the wedding transport.
