After the celebration, Irene and Enock got into an argument when he accused someone of informing Irene about his alleged infidelity. The situation escalated, and Enock attempted to push Irene off a motorbike. When they arrived home, Enock's behavior became violent, and he hit Irene's baby, causing the child to fall. Irene asked her friend to take the baby and leave the house due to the increasing violence.
Enock allegedly used an iron box and an umbrella to hit and stab Irene, threatening to kill her and disfigure her face. He also undressed her during the assault. Irene collapsed, bleeding profusely, and begged Enock to stop. At one point, she asked him to take her to the hospital, but he refused, saying she would accuse him of the assault.
Eventually, Enock agreed to take Irene to the hospital, accompanied by a neighbor. Irene reported the incident to the police at Sultan Hamud, where they reside. However, as of the report, the police had not arrested Enock, telling Irene to seek medical attention first.
Enock is employed at Dama Hardware in Sultan Hamud. The incident has raised concerns about his arrest and the need for support for Irene.
