Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika recently acquired a multimillion-shilling home, sharing the news on social media. Sidika expressed gratitude to God for enabling her to purchase the house she had dreamed of owning since moving to Nairobi eight years ago.
Sidika recounted her early days in Nairobi, where she lived in a bedsitter in Kahawa West while studying at Kenyatta University. At the time, she paid 3,500 shillings in monthly rent, which she found challenging. In contrast, she now spends around 3,500 shillings on daily smartphone credit.
In a social media post, Sidika reflected on her journey, stating:
Life is indeed a journey, you never wake up & have it all perfect! You need to feel the struggle & pain & be Patient before seeing better days. I remember when I came to Nairobi I used to live in a bedsitter in Kahawa Wendani Ksh.3,500 monthly.
