Avril's South African boyfriend, Mr Muga, has denied accusations of infidelity after photos of him with Big Brother Africa winner Delish Mathews surfaced.
The controversy began when Muga posted a photo on Instagram of himself and Delish having a meal together in Windhoek on Valentine's Day. The next day, Delish shared a photo collage of herself with Muga at a restaurant.
Meanwhile, Avril was working on Valentine's Day, performing at a show in Kakamega.
Muga initially responded to the rumors by stating that his private life was not subject to explanation. However, he later clarified that he and Delish were having lunch while waiting for others to join them.
Avril and Muga have been dating for approximately two years. Delish, on the other hand, has been married to her longtime boyfriend Stephen Gaeseb, although the couple has experienced a rocky marriage.
Muga also used Instagram to encourage fans to vote for Avril, who has been nominated for the Best Female Artist, East Africa category in the KORA Awards. He wrote,
