Zipporah Kittony, representing former President Daniel Moi at the burial of Vihiga Senator George Khaniri's mother in Hamisi constituency, stated that Moi supports the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Kittony attended the event alongside KANU Secretary General Nick Salat and announced that KANU was ready to work with NASA to oust Jubilee.

Three NASA leaders - Raila Odinga (ODM), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), and Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya) - were also present at the burial, where they urged their supporters to register as voters before the deadline.

Kittony quoted Moi as saying he had worked well with the late Nicodemus Khaniri and had sent her to deliver his message of condolences.

Regarding the NASA leadership, Kittony advised the leaders to engage in dialogue and present a unified candidate for the presidential election, stating, "The presidential seat is only one and can be held by just one person at a time."

NASA had recently announced agreement on general guidelines to resolve the deadlock on selecting a presidential candidate.

The recovered account cited reporting by Tuko.
