Gospel singer Bahati, celebrated for his talent and humility, shared a heartfelt letter to his son Morgan on Father's Day. In the letter, Bahati expressed his gratitude for the positive impact Morgan has had on his life.
Bahati wrote,
For Rose and Purity I may not know what exactly to give them, but I try to be the best dad I can. But to me, #MORGAN has been one of the greatest things that happened in my life. I got to realize that parenthood is not about blood, not about age or being ready (considering my age), but it's about the willingness to change a life!!!
Morgan, whom Bahati credits with teaching him patience and understanding, was rescued from a dumping site area near Gitathuro River in Mathare. Bahati thanked the staff at ABC Kenya Children Home for rescuing Morgan, who had developed health complications but has since recovered.
In the letter, Bahati also mentioned that he has adopted two daughters, Rose and Purity, in addition to being a father to Morgan. He shared a photo of himself and Morgan on Facebook, accompanied by the emotional letter.
