On July 22, 2019, news spread that WCB singer Mbosso had fired his manager following orders from his record label Wasafi Records.
However, in a recent interview, Mbosso clarified the situation, stating that he had not fired his manager Sandra Brown.
According to Mbosso, the WCB management felt that he needed a change of management, but he had yet to act on it.
He emphasized that when the time comes, the WCB management itself would announce the new changes.
“When the time comes, the WCB management will announce the changes. There has been no replacement, and my manager is still working with me. However, the department may change over time. I have brought in someone to work with me for this period, and we need someone who can match me in terms of discussion and vision. We are taking a cautious approach,” said Mbosso.
Mbosso also revealed that working with a team of mostly female staff members had led to unnecessary dramas on several occasions.
“I have a female DJ, a male photographer, a male bodyguard, and a female manager. I trust women, but they often create unnecessary drama. I believe in women, but they often create unnecessary drama. I believe in women because my faith tells me so, and I believe they have the ability to work like men if they focus their minds,” he added.
