A 30-year-old man, Darius Makambako, has sued his neighbor and best friend, 32-year-old Evans Mastano, for breach of contract after Evans failed to impregnate Darius' wife despite numerous attempts.
According to the court case in Tanzania, Darius had been trying to have a child with his 28-year-old wife, Precious, for six years but was unable to do so due to his own infertility.
In desperation, Darius approached Evans, who had two children of his own, to help him impregnate his wife in exchange for monetary compensation. However, after 10 months of repeated attempts, Darius discovered that Evans was also infertile.
Further revelations showed that Evans' wife had confessed to having an affair with Evans' cousin, who had fathered their two children.
Darius subsequently took Evans to court, seeking compensation and punishment for breach of contract.
