Avance Media Names Most Influential Young Kenyans for 2016

A report by Avance Media has ranked Dan Churchill Ndambuki as the most influential young Kenyan in 2016.

To be considered for the list, individuals had to be between 15 and 40 years old and demonstrate a significant impact on society, with evidence of their achievements available to the public. They were also required to be motivational figures, capable of inspiring other young people.

Other notable personalities featured on the list include Boniface Mwangi at number 4, Johnson Sakaja at number 5, and Larry Madowo at number 14.

The second position on the list was occupied by Mshila Mwakai Sio, whose background and achievements were less well-known. According to information from IREX, Mshila Sio has over three years of experience in the water resource management sector and is the founder and Director of Agua Inc. Kenya, a company specializing in water purification and wastewater treatment.

Mshila Sio's approach focuses on developing innovative solutions to address the unique challenges faced by Africa, which can then be applied globally. He has formed partnerships with organizations such as the Climate Innovation Center, a World Bank-InfoDev initiative, and leading universities in the region.
