A terror scare at Kenyatta University's Post Modern Library resulted in 38 students being reported injured on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred as students attempted to flee through windows from upper floors of the building, causing injuries and damage to property.

According to Kenyans.co.ke, reports indicate that a fight inside a computer lab led to the commotion, which was mistakenly believed to be a terror attack. The university's medical team promptly responded to attend to the injuries.

Kiambu County Commander James Mugera later confirmed the incident and assured that the situation had been brought under control.
