Hon Aden Duale, the Jubilee majority leader, spent part of Friday at the home of former NYS Deputy Director General, Mr Harakhe, in Syokimau, Embakasi. Duale had an affidavit he wanted Harakhe to swear, which would have claimed that the information provided by Ann Waiguru was false. However, Harakhe refused to swear the affidavit.

Duale left disappointed but is not giving up. He is mobilizing elders from his clan to pressure Harakhe to exonerate him.

In a separate development, Duale was spotted in Kericho with a gun and a knife, possibly as an extra precaution after his co-accused, Senator Murkomen, was beaten by Emurua Dikirr MP, Hon Johana Ng'eno. Duale has been assigned two bodyguards and one armed driver, bringing the total number of his armed security to three.
