An 11-year-old boy from Shenzhen, China, who suffered from brain cancer, donated his organs after his death, moving his medical team to bow in reverence.

Liang Yaoyi, a gifted student, was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of nine. Despite his bleak prognosis, Liang expressed his wish to donate his organs to his mother, Li Qun, before passing away.

According to Daily China, Liang said,

There are many people doing great things in the world. They are great, and I want to be a great kid too.

Liang also reportedly saw organ donation as a chance to be alive in another way.
