Actor Abel Mutua plans to spend Christmas in Malindi with his wife, Judith Nyawira, as an extension of their honeymoon.
Mutua, known for his role as Freddie in the TV series Tahidi High, said, "I will take my young family to Malindi over the holidays and try and promote local tourism. There is no need to go outside the country yet we have the best holiday destinations right here in Kenya."
Mutua's wife, Judy Nyawira, is a film producer who has collaborated with him on various projects since his departure from Tahidi High.
Recently, Mutua received an award at the Kalasha International Film Awards for his work on the Hapa Kule comedy show.
