Murugi, the wife of Pastor Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism Church, has filed for divorce at the Milimani Children's Court, citing physical abuse and infidelity. According to her, the pastor's behavior changed after their wedding in 2012, becoming increasingly abusive when drunk and engaging in extramarital affairs with church staff members.

Murugi is seeking Ksh 530,000 per month in child support for their daughter. However, Pastor Ng'ang'a denies the allegations, stating that his wife left their matrimonial home and has been denied access to their daughter.

In her account, Murugi describes how her life transformed from being supportive of her husband's ministry to experiencing abuse and mistreatment. She alleges that Pastor Ng'ang'a would often bring other women into their home, including their marital bed.

The recovered account cited reporting by The Standard.
