A serious accident involving multiple vehicles and a school bus occurred at Blue Post, Thika, resulting in fatalities and injuries, according to the Kenya Red Cross.
Six people were reported dead, and several others were seriously injured in the accident, which happened at night and caused a significant traffic jam on the Thika Super Highway.
Those injured were rushed to the Thika Level 5 hospital, while three students in critical condition were taken to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
