Mpasho News, a leading lifestyle and entertainment site in Kenya, recently hosted two notable individuals for a business discussion. One of them was Rozan Ahmed, who is currently in the country for an elephant conservation campaign.
Rozan Ahmed is working alongside several artists, including Juliani, Emmanuel Jal, Vanessa Mdee, and Syssi Mananga, on the We Want Peace (WWP) campaign, which aims to advocate against elephant poaching across the continent through music, social media, and activism.
Rozan Ahmed stated, "I’m here mainly to promote the Tusimame Project, which is a song and music video that I directed. It brings in the aspects of music, fashion and art and culture to the issue of elephant protection and basically protecting our nature as Africans."
The Tusimame Project video features various artists and is an artistic movement that encourages young Africans to prioritize nature and animal conservation. Rozan Ahmed has been recognized by several publications, including Drum Magazine Kenya, Marie Claire Italy, DSTV Africa Magic, and Pride Magazine UK, for her work in various industries such as fashion, arts, and social development.
Her consultancy work includes collaborations with prominent brands like Justin Timberlake, Jay Z, the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, Formula One, Louis Vuitton, and SonyBMG.
