Fernando Alonso is recovering well after a crash during Formula One testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, according to McLaren.
On Sunday, Alonso crashed into an inside wall at turn three and was taken to hospital after receiving initial treatment by the track's medical team.
Following the incident, McLaren posted an update on Twitter stating that Alonso was 'fine' and, despite scans showing no injuries, he would stay in hospital for overnight observation.
A photo of Alonso smiling and giving a thumbs-up was shared by his manager on Monday, providing a positive indication of his condition.
