Motorists experienced a severe traffic jam on Jogoo Road Thursday morning due to heavy flooding caused by the ongoing El Nino rains. The highway, which connects Nairobi's Central Business District to the Eastlands, was inundated during the morning rush hour.
Meteorologists warn that this is just the beginning, and similar or worse floods can be expected over the next three months.
