According to impeccable sources within State House, Dennis Itumbi, the State House blogger and Digital Communication Director, has been admitted to the prestigious Leicester University in the UK for a Master's Degree in New Media, Governance and Democracy.

The sources suggest that President Uhuru Kenyatta played a role in securing Itumbi's admission, despite him only having a diploma. Itumbi's hard work, experience spanning over 10 years, and his strategic roles in State House were reportedly considered by the university.

Speculation About a Future Cabinet Post

The same sources note that Uhuru is grooming Itumbi for a Cabinet post once he graduates in 2017. Many of Itumbi's current roles have been taken over by the Presidential Strategic Communication Department under the leadership of Uhuru's Spokesman, Manoah Esipisu.

This development comes amidst growing discontent among Kenyan youths who feel the President has overlooked them in favor of older, more established politicians. However, if Itumbi is indeed appointed to a Cabinet post, he would become one of the youngest ministers in Kenya's history.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been accused of neglecting the interests of young people, but his supporters argue that he has shown a commitment to youth empowerment through various appointments. Over 80% of his parastatal appointments have gone to individuals between the ages of 35 and 45.

Itumbi's potential appointment would also reinforce Uhuru's working relationship with other young professionals, including TNA Chairman Johnson Sakaja, his Private Secretary Jomo Gecaga, and TNA's Legal Advisor Jasper Mbiuki.
