Rotimi Adebayor, the brother of Togo and Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor, has apologized for his actions that led to trouble within the family.

Earlier, Emmanuel Adebayor had released a statement accusing his brother of stealing items, including shirts signed by the late Marc-Vivien Foe and Zinedine Zidane. In response, Rotimi Adebayor spoke to BBC, expressing regret for his actions and seeking forgiveness.

According to Rotimi,

I’m so sorry for everything that I’ve done wrong… I want to beg, forgive me.

The apology comes after Emmanuel Adebayor released a series of statements about his family, alleging they took advantage of his wealth and generosity. He also denied claims that he had abandoned his mother, leaving her to suffer in poverty.
