Emily Kachote, 25, has been stripped of her Miss Zimbabwe title due to alleged "immoral behavior", according to a statement released by the Miss Zimbabwe Trust.

The decision follows the leak of private photos, which were reportedly shared by an ex-partner seeking to damage her career. Kachote claimed she had hoped the photos would be deleted, but they were released months after she won the crown.

The Miss Zimbabwe Trust cited a violation of pageant rules as the reason for their decision. In a statement, they explained that

engaging in a relationship, making sexual advances, or exhibiting any behavior deemed immoral by the Miss Zimbabwe Trust can result in instant disqualification and dethronement.

Kachote’s case highlights the strict rules governing the behavior of beauty pageant contestants.
