Bishop Jackson Kosgei of Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya has alleged that he was forced to crawl from a Fly540 jet after staff claimed they could not assist him in disembarking.

According to Bishop Kosgei, the incident occurred when the plane landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) from Eldoret. Despite his disability, he says Fly540 attendants ordered him to exit the plane on his own after a 40-minute standoff.

Bishop Kosgei reported the incident to JKIA police, who recorded his complaint in OB No 18/11/5/2014. The document states that airline staff refused to allow anyone to support him as he disembarked.
