President Uhuru Kenyatta expressed disappointment over the decision by opposition leaders to ignore his invitation to attend the 53rd Madaraka Day celebrations at Afraha stadium.
The invitation had been extended to the CORD leaders during a meeting at State House with South Korean President Park Geun-Hye.
President Kenyatta criticized the CORD leaders for choosing to hold their own event instead of attending the celebrations.
