Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu is running for the women's special seat in Singida under the ruling party CCM (Chama Cha Mapinduzi).
Her decision to enter politics has drawn support from notable figures in the entertainment industry, including Mustapha, who recently offered his backing for her campaign.
Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone has also pledged to support Wema Sepetu's political ambitions, according to a conversation between Wema's friend, Petit, and Jose Chameleone.
