Evans Gikunda, formerly the Group Innovations head at Radio Africa Group, has resigned from his position.
According to Mpasho, Gikunda's resignation was accepted with immediate effect, and an email was sent to staff members informing them of the decision.
Gikunda had been at the center of attention after his personal WhatsApp messages were leaked online. The messages contained boasts about his relationships with multiple women.
It is reported that executives at Radio Africa Group, including Grace Msalame and Caroline Mutoko, were implicated in certain scandals by Gikunda. As a result, they allegedly pressured him to resign from his role.
