On Monday morning, fears emerged that Strathmore University had been attacked by Al Shabaab terrorists after reports of sporadic gunfire inside the institution.
Students were seen jumping from top floors of a building in response to the gunfire.
However, according to the Strathmore University administration, the incident was a security drill. The mock terror drill resulted in injuries to several students.
