Moses Wetangula, CORD co-principal and Bungoma Senator, was removed from a Kenya Airways flight, according to reports.
The incident occurred because the senator could not produce his identification card, which is allegedly required. He was scheduled to be on the 8:30 pm flight to Mombasa.
It is reported that his ID card was in a bag that his driver had already taken to Mombasa.
CORD insider Philip Etale stated that Wetangula presented his frequent flyer platinum card, but Kenya Airways staff did not accept it as a valid form of identification.
