Nairobi City County Governor Dr. Evans Kidero faces criticism from both the CORD and Jubilee coalitions regarding corruption cartels in City Hall, which are alleged to have misappropriated millions of taxpayers' money.
Raila Odinga's 2013 presidential campaign manager, Eliud Owalo, and Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko have spoken out against Governor Kidero. Owalo published a sponsored Facebook post, which was also shared on leading CORD platforms, calling for Kidero's removal from the ODM party to eliminate corrupt elements.
