A man from Kisii, identified as Boniface Manono, has died due to severe injuries sustained during an alleged incident of police brutality in Nairobi CBD. The incident occurred while Manono was participating in a CORD anti-IEBC demonstration.
According to reports, Manono was photographed being chased and beaten by three police officers. He was later rushed to a Nairobi hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The incident has sparked accusations of excessive force used by police against demonstrators, drawing comparisons to the past era of President Moi.
