JamboPay Refunds Nairobi Residents Sh2.65 Million After Contract Ends

On July 21, 2019, JamboPay announced plans to refund all Nairobi residents and motorists who had deposited money into their e-Jiji Pay accounts for City Hall services.

Following the end of the five-year contract between City Hall and WebTribe, JamboPay's parent company, the firm had refunded Sh2.65 million to 822 people who had requested the money since last month.

WebTribe Chief Executive Danson Muchemi stated that people who had paid for Nairobi County services and felt they needed their money had a right to call and ask for refunds.

Residents can dial 805# to contact the firm directly for the refunds.
