Gospel artist Linet Munyali, known as Size 8, and her husband Sammy Muraya, also known as Dj Mo, are expecting a baby, according to Size 8.
In a statement to Nairobi News, Size 8 confirmed the news but declined to provide further details, citing her focus on caring for her ailing mother.
"It is true we are expecting a baby but I will not give you details because we are still nursing my ailing mother," she said.
Size 8 and Dj Mo were married in a private ceremony in September 2013. The couple publicly acknowledged their marriage about a month later, with Size 8 noting at the time that marriage is a private matter.
Currently, Size 8 is attending to her mother, Esther Munyali, who is hospitalized at Nairobi Hospital and is scheduled to undergo a kidney transplant. A support campaign, " Simama na Mama Size 8 ", has been ongoing to help the family.
