A dispute in Thika town has drawn attention due to its unusual nature. The incident involves a family where the father and daughter have reportedly developed a relationship akin to husband and wife.
According to reports, the mother of the family had left her home three months prior, allegedly to join a cult. She had been attending cultist traditions, leaving behind a six-month-old child.
The woman, claiming to be two months pregnant, stated that she had endured ill treatment from her husband for a long time and was ready to leave him. When she attempted to retrieve her children from the house and was unsuccessful, she sought help.
During the altercation, the daughter was seen taking the father's hand, referring to him affectionately, and leading him back to their house. The situation escalated with the involvement of community members and reports of violence.
