On July 21, 2019, the draw for the CAF Champions League Preliminary round was announced, with Orlando Pirates of South Africa facing off against Green Eagles of Zambia.
The first leg of the contest will see the Buccaneers travel to Zambia between August 9th and 11th, 2019, before hosting the Eagles in South Africa between August 23rd and 25th.
