The newly sworn-in Inspector General of Police, Joseph Kipchirchir Boinett, has directed police commanders to combat corruption within the service.
Boinett stated, "I will be keeping a sharp eye on corruption, especially in the police service. Corruption must come to an end."
In addition to addressing corruption, he pledged to collaborate with the military and the National Intelligence Service to fight terrorism.
