President Uhuru Kenyatta and CORD Leader Raila Odinga have traveled abroad to separate destinations.
According to a news despatch from the presidency, President Kenyatta is on a five-day official trip to Japan, where he will attend the 3rd UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai city.
The President is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, aiming to strengthen relations between Kenya and Japan.
In a separate engagement, Raila Odinga has traveled to Morocco for the South-South Cooperation Conference and a personal meeting with the King of Morocco.
